This series documents the work of the state archivist/assistant commissioner as chair of the State Historical Records Advisory Board (SHRAB). It contains membership and project files, correspondence, grant applications, administration records, annual and special reports, and board meeting files containing agenda, notes, and background material. Chairs have include Larry Hackman, Bruce Dearstyne who was, for the years 1995-1996, Co-Interim State Archivist as well as Director of External Programs and V. Lawrence W. Dearstyne owned a dairy farm in Berne, N.Y. He was a member of the Dairy Farmers of America, an organization formed ca. 1955, for securing higher milk prices for farmers.
